It can happen to anyone: a conflict with a colleague or manager, a performance review that you feel is unjustified, or a decision made by senior management that negatively affects you. If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, you can turn to VKP for support.
We can provide advice, support you with questions or issues, and mediate when necessary. Our experience shows that in most situations you are perfectly capable of resolving the problem yourself. In cases where this is not possible, we are there for you. We handle your information with care, integrity, and confidentiality.
The board members of VKP bring skills and expertise from their own experience and careers at KLM, enabling them to effectively represent your interests.
When it comes to truly complex matters, such as labor disputes or career-related issues, we work together with professionals who can offer additional support. These professionals are also available to assist you with questions about employment conditions, pensions, or social insurance.

Who are these professionals?
They are individuals who currently hold or have held managerial or specialist roles within KLM. They know KLM, its processes, and the internal pathways of the organization, making them ideally suited to help you with your specific question.
VKP prefers to resolve conflicts before they escalate. Rather than immediately pursuing a legal route, we favor a more mediating approach. It is important, however, not to wait too long before raising the alarm. Many problems can be prevented if you involve us at an early stage!
Please note: membership is not a legal expenses insurance
It is important to know that your VKP membership does not include legal expenses insurance. If court proceedings have to be conducted, or if a matter is legally complex or involves a significant interest, a legal professional, usually a lawyer, will need to be engaged. This often involves considerable costs.
Have you taken out legal expenses insurance yourself? If so, check whether employment matters fall within its coverage and report as soon as possible that you are involved in an employment matter. Do not delay, as many insurers require timely notification.
As a matter of principle, legal costs are not borne by VKP but by the member. Where other members also have, or may have, an interest in a court ruling, VKP may contribute to the costs or bear them in full.
