VKP focuses on representing the interests of professionals who are currently or have previously been employed by KLM.

The association was recognized by KLM in 1969. As an employee organization, VKP is completely independent of KLM. VKP advocates for its members’ interests through the clarity and strength of its arguments. At the national level, VKP is affiliated with the Trade Union for Professionals (VCP), which holds a seat in the Social and Economic Council (SER).
