At VKP, I feel seen, not just another number
I have been working at KLM Passenger Service for over 15 years and had been a member of one of the national employee associations for many years.
Back then, I didn’t really give it much thought and just followed the crowd. I figured a well-known employee association would probably be fine. I paid my dues faithfully and didn’t think much more about it.
But during the COVID period, I started noticing that the national rmployee association was slow to respond to questions, and it felt like I was just a number to them. This became even clearer when I ended up on sick leave early last year. I was hardly ever ill, so this was a completely new experience for me.
You already feel uncertain in such a situation, and in those moments, you’re really looking for proper support, someone who understands your personal circumstances and offers a listening ear.
It quickly became clear to me that my previous employee association couldn’t offer what I needed. There was a lack of personal contact, and I was really confronted with that at the moment I needed their support the most.
That’s why I’m very glad I made the switch to VKP. I was welcomed with open arms. At VKP, you can literally knock on the door, it’s always open. The atmosphere is friendly and approachable. At VKP, you truly get personal attention, along with professional support and tailored advice.
VKP truly goes above and beyond, and that makes all the difference.
At VKP, I come first — and that gives me real peace of mind.
