Why is employee participation so important?

 

The Works Council (OR) has, among other things:

• The right to advise on significant financial, economic, and organizational decisions.
• The right to consent on decisions concerning personnel arrangements that directly affect the interests of KLM employees.
• A focus on good working conditions and a safe work environment.

The new OR and Group Committee (GC) members took office on June 1, 2025, for a three-year term.

It should optimally utilize the expertise, intellect, and commitment of employees within the company. Decisions must be based on facts and sound arguments.

We will listen carefully and act decisively on the issues and concerns that exist, both within society and especially among KLM employees
